The root cause of any challenge that we face – be it a physical health issue, an emotional or relationship issue or a repeating pattern in life – begins with a disconnection from our true self.
With the increasing levels of depression, stress, burnout, emotional imbalance and trauma, understanding the importance and relevance of emotional healing and re-connection with self is crucial.
To heal our disconnect, we need to begin the journey of self-exploration. We need to understand, accept and connect back to who we are at a soul level. We need to break through our conditioning, our programming, our expectations, our trauma, our limiting beliefs and unhealed emotions. We need to understand the emotional root cause for our problems and the limitations that stop us from reaching our fullest potential. When connection to our true nature is established we know.. we feel it. We feel lighter, peaceful, more energised. We feel free.
Emotional healing sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual and can be applied to benefit all areas of a person’s life – physical health, emotional and mental wellbeing, work and relationships. Sessions help to understand and resolve challenges and release unprocessed emotions that are weighing us down. In all honesty, the most important connection for all of us, is the one with our soul. This is the primary focus.. to re-establish soul connection and live in alignment with their true nature.
When we heal painful emotions and traumatic life events on an emotional level, we will find that change will not only be lasting, but will bring more love and joy to ourselves and in turn those around us.
We cannot experience true unconditional love unless we learn to love ourselves unconditionally. We need to do the work to move through our own personal blocks which have imprisoned the soul. Our life difficulties and past experiences should not be seen as unforgiveable mistakes or limitations, but rather experiences for us to grow and learn about ourselves on a deeper level. Everything is always happening for our growth. It is not possible to experience true spiritual growth if we are resistant to emotional healing.
An emotional cleanse can feel intense at times and overwhelming as it opens up conversation channels between the conscious and the subconscious. We are clearing layers of emotions that have been suppressed- often over a very long period of time. It is most common for our emotional wounds to be ancestrally linked as well as to our past lives in higher dimensions. This often creates confusion for us, if we have been living in a one dimensional reality and don’t know how to deal with what is coming up for us.
Often when we move forward in our lives, deeper layers of emotions and trauma will come up for clearing. It is important to understand that healing is an ongoing process. The more we become comfortable with feeling and purging our emotions as they arise, the easier is becomes. It all comes down to our willingness to become self-aware, to have an understanding of our experience, to apply new found knowledge and lastly, to embody it in order to make lasting change. From this space, we begin to anchor in more light.. we can push past our self-imposed comfort zone… and find out what we are really made of. A soul with unlimited potential.
By the time we are 35 years old, 95% of us have memorised a set of behaviours, emotional reactions, unconscious habits, hardwired attitudes, beliefs and perceptions that function like a computer program. That leaves only 5% of our conscious mind wanting us to be free.
When left untreated, an unhealthy mind does not only give rise to mental imbalances, like anxiety, depression, and psychotic disorders, but also manifests in the body through unexplained aches and pains, eating disorders, chronic fatigue, indigestion and various other psychosomatic disorders.
Most of us are aware of our conscious thoughts and through conscious thought control we can effect change in our lives. However, this most often does not lead to permanent change. We need to go deeper into our subconscious mind to life events that were the initial cause of emotions like sorrow, anger, guilt, anxiety, resentment and depression.
We often get signals, which tell us where our lives are unbalanced and where there is an underlying emotional wound. For example; high stress, drinking too much, eating too much or too little, low self esteem, relationship or communication problems, withdrawal from others, abusive behaviour, feelings of lack, inability to experience peace or joy. These all indicate that there is some thought, or memory within the subconscious mind that needs to be released and resolved.
Most people are constantly and unconsciously re-affirming their emotional states. Our body doesn't know the difference between an event and what you are creating by emotion or thought alone.
When it comes the time to give up that emotion, it becomes more difficult when we don't understand the body/mind connection.
When we step into the unknown, we may feel excitement… uncertainty… or fear…. whatever emotion we are storing based on past experiences.
It is important for us to teach our body what the future will feel like… without any evidence of it. We need to practice how to FEEL good emotions on the inside. We can’t wait for something outside of us to make us feel good. The change has to happen inside of us.
The moment we can shift from feeling ‘unworthy’ to start feeling ‘worthy’ we feel empowered. The moment we start feeling whole, true healing begins.
To truly heal, we have to go beyond the analytical mind … and this is where body connection is key. This is how we can recognise our habitual patterns, understand our emotional blocks and release them.. for good.
Our emotions are signposts that indicate what we are blocking and therefore what we need to learn for soul reconnection. Each emotion has a different message for us about where we are at and where we are limiting our reality.
How we think and feel creates our state of being. The emotions we feel depend on what thoughts are holding into and how we perceive our life experiences.
Most people block their emotions as they are always thinking and trying to avoid the perceived pain of past trauma. We experience emotions to reflect how we feel about our experiences in trauma. And we often play them on repeat until we heal the past.
It is never our experiences or people that create how we feel, it is perceptions of experiences that determine how we feel - based on past experience. As life unfolds, we realise that nobody can make us feel a certain way.. they are just reflecting a feeling that is already within us. This is what we need to work on transmuting.
Each memory we hold has an emotion. It may make us feel happy, sad, anxious, angry and so on.
If we think our familiar past will be the predictable future, then it will be. We will keep recreating the same life, routine behaviours, do the same things, see the same people. It becomes a routine, a program. You begin to lose your free will to a program.
Emotional healing can make lasting change to our subconscious programs. It involves integration of the fragmented parts of our soul to help us, not only understand a past experience, but to resolve it fully, so that it has no emotional response whatsoever. The emotions of the past will no longer control our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Limiting belief systems will be overcome and lasting, positive change will take place at a deep, soul level.
When we take the emotional journey, it changes our vibrational frequency which will change our point of attraction. It only takes a few days of shifting your point of attraction before things start to shift in your outer world.
When our journey is solely action - focussed… when we only focus on ‘what we need to do’ and we don’t focus on our emotions.. if we don't tend to shift how we feel, nothing much changes in our lives.
Our actions can become more of a distraction, rather than getting us to where we want to be vibrationally. We need to feel.
Once we recognise what emotion is keeping us stuck in a particular vibration, we can work to release it and embody an emotion that will change our point of attraction to what it is that we actually desire.
The emotional journey is all about shifting how we feel. In any moment in time. There is so much power in shifting how we feel. This is how we consciously create our reality. We queue up the vibration, then the creator takes care of the rest.
Our reality is a reflection of how we FEEL.
This is why we need to get in touch with our emotions.
To understand our own emotional guidance scale, we need to recognise how we are feeling right now… not suppress those feelings. For example if we have sadness… firstly, acknowledge it. Acknowledge where we are at emotionally right now… feel it.. release it.. Then we can shift our vibration away from that sadness towards an emotion we now choose to feel and embody. When we are in a different emotional place, different opportunities become available to us.
Through emotional healing we can rewire what’s going on inside, change our emotional patterns and bring presence to our life. We put our life in perspective, question our limiting beliefs, we face our fears and transcend them.
We can learn to find a benefit in any situation.
We have the ability to transcend whatever happens to us. We can break through whatever it takes, when we realise who we really are and how strong we really are.
When we develop the resilience to break through life challenges, we develop a psychological immunity. We are not scared anymore. We know we can get through anything. We know we can handle anything, because we have reconnected to our strength of spirit.
Everyday we have to feed our mind. Release and upgrade our emotions. Go past what is safe so that we can find out what we are made of.
Healing ourselves emotionally is crucial for our spiritual growth. So that we can feel love, express love without fear and condemnation, be true to ourselves and our desires, follow our intuition, our inner guidance and our highest path, awaken to Creator/God and live each day with love, peace and joy.
To get in touch with our inner spiritual self, we must allow ourselves to heal on a deep emotional level - not only physically through prescription drugs or by undertaking rigorous exercise, dieting, or through positive thought control.
Emotional healing allows us to come to terms with events and circumstances which have occurred in our lives. Once emotional healing work has taken place to release past emotional blockages, we can integrate these experiences into our lives. We can allow ourselves to grow and develop emotionally, on a deeper, more profound spiritual level.
It is when we go deeper into a problem to look at the cause and release its emotional impact that real change occurs. Change that is transformative in nature: change that will release the emotional charge behind the emotional block or pattern.
The chakras are our energy centres and each chakra has its own individual emotional and spiritual benefits. They are in so many ways associated with our happiness, creativity, self-confidence, love, self-expression, vision and connection with the higher self and our spirituality. The Chakras help us understand our emotions and in turn understand ourselves. True healing recognises that we are multi-dimensional beings, with the body influencing the mind and vice versa. When we work with the chakras and emotions this way, it helps us to stop feeling like a victim of our emotions.
Our emotions are messages from our soul, trying to give us important information regarding our healing. The key is to stop judging ourselves for feeling and rather accept how we feel. Once we accept how we feel, we can accept who we are. A foundational piece of self-love is accepting how we feel..
